 You asked.

Join us for a 1.5 hour workshop on Sunday June 4th near Notting Hill Gate Station, where you'll transform your relationship with your body.  We will share the benefits of body tools like guasha and scrapers for wellness.

What to Expect

Led by Neeta Sharma, this experience will guide you through gentle scraping motions to release fascia, increase circulation, relieve aches and pains, and deepen your breath. You'll also learn how to intuitively use these tools to benefit your mind, body, and soul.

Learn the history and evolution of body tools, how to use different edges, and how much pressure to apply where and when. Spend an hour using the tools across your entire body for a massage-like experience.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to care for yourself!

Message from our founder

My mantra for 2023 has been make moves, following last year's theme of get grounded and 2021's #getcurious.

Having left the corporate world two years ago, I’ve been learning how to speak the 'language of wellness' while primarily working on this business solo.  I’ve put myself out of my comfort zone personally and professionally in almost every way. This experience has obviously brought many unexpected things… some things I could never have imagined.  I’m sure anyone
reading this has experienced similar sentiments – hello covid!

As I approach my 42nd birthday in a few months, my goal to live sustainably has been reinforced, both personally and professionally. For me, sustainable living means showing respect to the mind, body, and soul every week, if not every day.
Despite this intention, I still felt burnout creeping up last week. I am
getting better at listening to the whispers and have a toolkit to experiment with to help me through it.

As we celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week, it is an excellent time to reflect on your personal wellness toolkit. Keep what works, refine things, add practices, and remove what doesn't. After all, the only constant in life is change. Some days you may need yoga, and on other days, a punching bag at a boxing gym might serve you better. One day, it might be something you have never even heard of yet. #getcurious, get grounded, and make moves.

Finally, I wanted to share some inspiration. Today marks a new moon in Taurus, a fixed earth sign known for its grounding and nurturing qualities. It's an excellent time to reflect on Taurus traits related to your mental health that you need for this period of your life, which may be different from last year or even last week. We've put together a playlist called "Food for Thought,"
which you can listen to while the moon is hiding its light from us, creating an ideal time for reflection.  See more below.

Keep well and #rockwithcare.

Sitting is the New Smoking

We all know how much sitting all day can negatively impact our health. To combat this, incorporate these two simple tips into your day.

1. Bring movement to the psoas muscle.

Schedule reminders to stand every 30 minutes or so. During this break, wiggle the jagged edge of #rockwithcare across your abdomen area, focusing on the psoas muscle (the "V" shape between your legs and abdomen). This can help reduce stiffness and increase flexibility. Tightness in this area can lead to discomfort or pain in the lower back and hips.

2. Boost blood flow to your scalp.

Take the jagged edge of your #rockwithcare, place it on one part of your scalp, and press down for 2-3 seconds (pick anywhere).

Repeat this process in at least 10 other areas of your scalp and forehead to increase blood flow. You'll feel immediate mental benefits too.

Did you know that all our products have 5 star ratings across the board?

full moon

Today's new moon falls in the sign of Taurus. New moons are a great time to reflect on the characteristics of the sign they are in.

Taurus represents several things, including practicality, loyalty, sensuality, determination, stubbornness, dependability, and a value for luxury and comfort.

Do you need more or less of these characteristics? Reflect.

PS: It is the first new moon after the eclipse season. Generally, the 6 months following an eclipse season is the time to "make moves."

Featuring spiritual songs from various backgrounds, picked to uplift and inspire the soul. With soothing melodies and heartfelt lyrics, these tracks offer food for thought, encouraging reflection and contemplation. This playlist is meant to nurture your spirit and leave you feeling grounded and connected to the world around you.

Grounded 1002 promotes an #intuitivelifestyle, creates experiences, and is a store. Our mission is to be a gateway for people being a better version of themselves. We believe the #essentialelement is to #rockwithcare. After all, we know that the nursery rhyme #stixandstones wasn’t entirely true. Every product and experience we offer is meant to be additive – whether used just once or on a daily basis.
