Playlist #024: Supermoon in Aries 2023 (Version: Singer Songwriter)

Created as a backdrop for an amplified vibrational time - iSeptember 29th, 2023.

These songs are meant to bring up the feels - about your relationships (with family, partners, friends, loved ones - past, present, future).

Music is a powerful tool to explore your musical range.  If you dont like a song, change up how you listen to it.  Listen to the vocals if you normally listen to the music.  Listen to the bass if you normally listen to the treble.  If you still dont like it, #getcurious ... ps:  you don't have to like every song ever created.

What's included - see below.

Cold War (Cautious Clay) In "Cold War" by Cautious Clay, the artist delves into themes of modern-day relationships, societal superficiality, and personal introspection. With introspective lyrics and smooth R&B-infused melodies, the song creates a captivating atmosphere that invites listeners to reflect on their own experiences. (Neeta:  I saw this show being performed at a Live & Unplugged show in London. The crowd whole heartedly singing every word with so much energy.  Loaded with emotions.)

The Way I Am (Recorded Live on WERS) (Ingrid Michaelson) New York City indie-pop artist Ingrid Michaelson got her big break when Old Navy used her song "The Way I Am" for a sweater collection...For her, the first flush of success has not necessarily been satisfying. She says it's just her personality type.

Stir It Up (Bob Marley & The Wailers) Bob Marley wrote the song Stir It Up in 1967 for his wife, Rita Marley. It describes a man requesting that his woman help him in lighting a flame of passion between them. (Neeta:  If you didn't know, Bob cheated on Rita all the time)

I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For  (U2)  It's a song about searching for meaning or transcendence," he (Bono) says. "And to me, the most interesting thing about it is that you don't find it. It's about the search." (Neeta:  So many meanings to this song - although Bono is referring to Jesus, the song has been used in countless kids movies.  At a U2 concert, it is always the unexpected anthem... that's when you really fall in love with this song).

This Is What You Came For (Boyce Avenue covering Rihanna)  "Taylor Swift hasn't just written country music — she also contributed to the hit single "This Is What You Came For," performed by Calvin Harris and featuring Rihanna." (Neeta:  ... so many of our favorite pop artists write for others.  A beautiful thing.)
